The commanders are gonna get real dangerous real fast. They and the bears seem the most poised for an enormous offseason. The bears, of course, very dependent on Caleb’s development under a way better coach [Reply]

Hell, the Commanders were dangerous last season. Caleb will never not be a nail-painting crybaby. [Reply]
I was pretty happy with our addition at LT until this came across. Two picks for a star LT is a good bargain. LT's tend to age well and Tunsil is not obscenely expensive. Seems like a very similar move to the OBJ acquisition, except I think we gave up more for him. OBJ was younger and cheaper, but also not as talented and proven. [Reply]
Tunsil's under control at 2 years, $41 million for them. Still one of the 3-5 best pass blockers in the NFL.
They gave up the rough equivalent of a late 2nd this year, IMO.
I'd have probably preferred give up this years 2 and some change to try to get that deal done. Then again, Houston may have been really opposed to trading him to us given that they need to beat us to accomplish anything. Might have taken our 1st and I wouldn't have been willing to do that.
But if a deal similar to the Brown deal was on the table, I'd have taken it for sure. Our 1st and 4th for their 2nd and Tunsil? Yeah, I'd have been in on that.
Oh well -- have to figure the phonecall was made. [Reply]

Washington has draft capital and an absurd amount of cap space. And they’re out of conference. We never had a shot, so I’m not too hung up on it. [Reply]
