KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Multiple sources have confirmed to FOX4 that should the Kansas City Chiefs win Super Bowl LIX, there will be no rally for the public.
This comes after a mass shooting at last year’s Super Bowl champions rally outside Union Station.
Chiefs seek another Super Bowl sweep in rematch against Eagles
If they win, the celebration will begin with an exclusive gathering at Arrowhead Stadium for players, their families, Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe and Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas. That gathering may be broadcast on screens along the parade route. [Reply]

I'm going on a limb here but I don't think the culprits were of Irish heritage. [Reply]

LOL. The city has no control over who shows up to the parades. Most people at the St. Patrick's Day parade aren't Irish either. Just people wanting to drink and party. [Reply]

Yeah but let's be honest. A St Patrick's day parade is hardly likely to attract a load of hoodrats. [Reply]

The City government is very liberal, like most big cities in the US. I'd be surprised if they take this approach. They'll probably just beef up security a lot more.
New Orleans is still holding the Super Bowl despite several dozen people being ran over by car in a targeted attack last month. [Reply]
