I consider the NFC to be a lower league. Super Bowl was last Sunday. I think the bottom 3 teams in the AFC every year should be relegated to the NFC and the top 3 NFC teams should be promoted to the AFC. [Reply]

To be fair, there’s a middle ground in there. Delhomme and McNabb are the closest to “nobodies” that he’s beaten. Warner and especially Pat are the legends. Ryan, Goff and Wilson are in between with Russ a notch above the other two. He sucks now but prime Russ was pretty good. As of now, I’d put Hurts and Purdy above Delhomme and probably McNabb but not the other 3.
I think the better argument is who Brady has lost to in the postseason. Now obviously Brady has had more opportunities to lose due to the longevity of his career so it’s a weighted argument but still, Mark Sanchez….Tannehill…..Jake Plummer….Foles. Even Eli. We love Eli for beating Brady twice in the SB but other than that, he never did shit.
Mahomes has lost to Brady (the at worst 2nd best QB ever) and Joe Burrow (on a HOF trajectory stats wise).
That’s it.
Ultimately winning the Super Bowl is a hell of an accomplishment, I don’t care if you beat Brody Croyle to do it. But if I was building an anti Brady case, it would be with who he’s lost to before it was with who he beat. [Reply]

It’ll be bullshit given some of the guys Brady played, but that’ll be the cope.
Nah, just mowed through the top QBs to get to the SB, then beat a bunch of teams that talking heads claimed were more talented than KC everywhere but QB. :-) [Reply]

and don't forget, 2 of Mahomes playoff losses came in OT...never touched the ball against the Pats in 2018 AFCCG, and Hill knocked the ball right into the Bengals' defenders hands on a pass he should have caught in 2021. [Reply]
