Nzoner's Game Room>What are your Prime Day purchases?
Chief Roundup 10:27 AM 07-16-2024
It is the offseason. I am just curious what everyone is wanting or getting from Amazon since today and tomorrow are Prime Days where members get an extra discount.

What is a Prime day? Related to Pride day. Maybe Prime cuts of beef day, interest rate day? I'm flummoxed.

I opened the app and my wife already has 4 things in the cart.... this could be worse than a trip to Costco!

A while back I made a big list of low-priority items that I would wait for Amazon prime day to purchase

I got:
a samsung watch
a garage fan
a pickaxe
a wedge pillow to hopefully help my snoring
a big 96 inch ceiling fan for my patio
2 tubs of creatine that will last me a year
2 tubs of citrulline that will last me a year
a mop and wringer
a big push squeegee for the garage floor
a new floor jack because I'm tired of repairing the stupid piston

Costco - you go with the intent to buy one thing and you somehow come out with a $500 bill every damn time

Some clothes, a new recliner, slides, bike repair stand, some shelves, and nutritional yeast. The Mrs bought too much stuff to list.

Not sure about a wedge pillow but I bought a wedge mattress for under our normal mattress about 2 months ago. It seems to help. If your pillow doesn't do the trick, you might think about trying the mattress elevator option.

Avana Mattress Elevator - Under Bed 7-Inch Incline Foam Support

Prime day is pretty much shit unless you're getting Amazon devices

It's for digging to find the sprinkler valves in my back yard. I have a wire signal locator, but there is a point where the wire goes too deep under the ground and the signal finder doesn't work anymore. So I'm going to have to start digging where the signal ends, but right now the ground is too hard for a shovel.

Have you ever tried "Witching" for it? Really spooky how reliable it it. It seems to work for water and wires.
