I have a 3d printer and have never really printed anything very large. I've always wanted one of the leg lamps from a Christmas story. A couple weeks ago I decided to buckle down and make one since I have the means of doing so. It got me to thinking, what odd hobbies do you all have? I've always printed and finished smaller items, I think my new hobby is printing large things and making them look awesome. See the pictures of my major award.
That’s incredible. I’m fascinated by other people’s hobbies as it sometimes motivates me to try something new. I really have no handy working skill so that rules out a lot for me.
I picked up mountain biking earlier this year and that has been a challenge. Much more expensive and difficult than I ever imagined, but thus far it’s been fun. [Reply]
