Nzoner's Game Room>Injuries mounting across NFL after two weeks
scho63 10:37 AM 09-17-2024
It could be my imagination more than reality but damn it seems like just two weeks in, a lot of teams are losing a lot of key players to injuries and many of them are on offense.

Deebo now out too for 49'ers.

Rams are the Chargers this year and have like 9 guys out or hurt.

Justin Jefferson hurt.

I think this could be a reason for some of this low scoring.

Lot of guys got no preseason reps.

Injuries knock playoff teams out of competition.

Gotta stay healthy......:-)

This is a really shitty year for fantasy football.

happened a lot a few years ago too. Have to get people in game mode. And they are not. maybe going to 3 games was not smart.

The three games is fine. Going back to four means nothing when they don't play anyways.

It's been a blood bath from a fantasy football perspective. Going to be some pretty desperate moves made on the waiver wire this week.

It’s football. It’s a violent sport. My guess is that the amount of injured players is about the same as most years after two weeks but instead of the anvil falling on Bill Smith or Ned Jones (just to make up some generic names) it’s fallen on some star players. Is what it is.

No preseason reps makes guys rusty or pull hamstrings, it however doesn't cause broken legs.

One of the most common ways to injure soft tissue it so dramatically change the stress on the body without conditioning the body to account for.

All these players are going straight from low effort practice to high effort game action.

As long as this trend continues the number of injuries is going to continue to increase.

Friends who participate in Suicide Pools tell me they have never seen so many people blown out so early.

My one buddy lost w Ravens last week and got knocked out. Said like 70% of the people gone already.

Everybody avoiding the Panthers like the plague.

I've lost starting QBs in consecutive weeks in one league.

Also lost my RB2 in a 14 team league (RIP season)
