I don't really even care about service time anymore. If he sucks they'll give him a DeJong type extension, so they'll never get decent value for him. If he's awesome they'll trade him for a middle reliever, so they'll never get decent value for him.

I am at the Costanza inflection point with this franchise. Whatever decision they make is the wrong one, so there's no point even worrying about it.
