#Chiefs CB Jaylen Watson, one of their emerging young players on defense, suffered a fractured ankle in Sunday’s win over the #49ers, sources say.
He’ll have more imaging done today to determine if a return this season is possible. But tough reality for an up-and-coming corner. pic.twitter.com/86J6M58zqm

Unless he broke it and the MRI is to check for ligament damage [Reply]
damn this is why the 3 peat has never been done. We've been relatively fortunate with injuries up until now. But it's not like it's cost us any games so far and DB is probably the best position and deepest on the team at least. [Reply]
-If it's really that bad we'd be fortunate to have him back in time for the Playoffs.
-Injuries are stacking up but this team is still in good shape. This is truly the deepest team we've ever had.
-Roland-Wallace was lost out of the gate but once dialed in he played really well. (How does Veach do it? Good CB's are hard to find and KC has them in surplus. It's amazing.)
-The level of depth in this secondary is virtually unheard of. Joshua Williams is our 5th CB and him and Watson were on the same level not long ago. [Reply]
Thats a shame but we have some depth here and hopefully he is back for the play offs.
Best thing about this guy is how you don't notice him in a game. He goes out there and does his job and as a corner that is usually a sign of shutting down your side of the field [Reply]
