Nzoner's Game Room>Is it better to be lucky, or good?

Worked for the Patriots :-)

Also, those damn refs.

Is it better to be lucky, or good?

If you want to go undefeated, sometimes it is better to be lucky. Also, those damn refs. pic.twitter.com/JmdPhV8rCC

Always good. You can't control when you are lucky.

Being good creates luck, or at least advantageous situations in which the tiniest bit of luck can win the game.

They don't ask how... they ask how many.

Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity, and we're almost indisputably the most-prepared team in the league these days.

Yep, and the harder you work & the more pressure you put on the other team, the luckier you get.

Incorrect. Luck is luck.

People like to say that. Just like they say insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. Yet that is not what the dictionary says.

Like Billy Zane trying to find a way off Titanic, the Chiefs have a way of making their own luck under Mahomes.

If you're shitty and get lucky, you still lose the game 35-14.

This cannot be more true in regards to the Chiefs.

The Chiefs prepared thoroughly for the OT rules in the SB while the 49ers had players who didn’t even know the rules.

The Chiefs prepared for Bosa knowing he would crash on the RB every time. On a 4th and 1 in the SB in OT, they prepared and ran fake handoff option and exploited Bosa.

The Chiefs prepared thoroughly for a FG attempt, saw a big weakness and ended up exploiting it by blocking it to win the game.

Preparation was met by opportunity each time.
