This deserves its own thread and not buried in the MCU thread (sorry DaFace) since this is apparently the one and only Marvel/MCU theatrical release in 2024.
And yes, they have confirmed it will be rated "a hard R". [Reply]
Did anyone see Renolds post during the Super Bowl? Basically he took a photo of himself next to his TV and Deadpools face was on the TV... he says something about anyone seeing the Deadpool trailer and if anyone had seen his wife. It finally dawned on me who the other chick was with Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl.
This is going to be a fantastic send off far marvel as we know it. The future pipeline is absolutely dreadful. If they were smart, the next decade would be a pivot to the Xmen universe. [Reply]

There is the latest reboot of The Fantastic Four that could be interesting. Teaser poster for that was just recently dropped.
But anyway, yeah, this is easily the most excited I've been for a Marvel movie since the last Spiderman. [Reply]
Looks like Marvel is getting back on track a little, this coming out this Summer, Xmen 97, then Fantastic Four and Blade next year. My whole hopes come down to the live action Xmen movie when it's all said and done. [Reply]

Deadpool has always been a self-aware franchise (both the comic book character and of course the movies) but isn't that a little TOO meta?
Makes me wonder if they added those lines specifically for the trailer, kind of like adding Hulk charging out to battle in Wakanda in the first Infinity War trailer. [Reply]
