Incredibly stupid move by both sides. The Jets only agreed to this trade in the first place because Reddick assured them he would play out this year. He reneged on that once the Jets lost Huff and traded away Franklin-Myers. Don't really get why the Jets even traded for him in the first place if they didn't intend on at least the possibility of signing him at some point. [Reply]
:-) It does my heart good to enjoy the schadenfreude of the Jets. Fuck them and their fans. Most insufferable fanbase I've ever had the misfortune of engaging with. [Reply]
The #Jets were informed by Haason Reddick’s representation that he would report and play under his current contract. That, obviously, has not happened.
They let Reddick know they were open to adjusting his current deal (converting non-guaranteed to GTD), but only when he showed… pic.twitter.com/b0TFDEDDTn

What’s the point of swapping your only good WR for another decent edge?
I just know there's been some noise about the Jets (ahem, Rodgers) trying to get Davante. Wasn't proposing it would be a player-for-player trade, but curious if it would be part of a larger package. Who knows.
You're right though, that's a lot of money on the DL. [Reply]
