It could be my imagination more than reality but damn it seems like just two weeks in, a lot of teams are losing a lot of key players to injuries and many of them are on offense.
Deebo now out too for 49'ers.
Rams are the Chargers this year and have like 9 guys out or hurt.
Justin Jefferson hurt.
I think this could be a reason for some of this low scoring.
It’s football. It’s a violent sport. My guess is that the amount of injured players is about the same as most years after two weeks but instead of the anvil falling on Bill Smith or Ned Jones (just to make up some generic names) it’s fallen on some star players. Is what it is. [Reply]

One of the most common ways to injure soft tissue it so dramatically change the stress on the body without conditioning the body to account for.
All these players are going straight from low effort practice to high effort game action.
As long as this trend continues the number of injuries is going to continue to increase. [Reply]
