DJ Herz, like Mitchell Parker last night, is another talented Nationals lefty that is putting it together at the major league level. Herz has more bat missing ability than Parker, but the Nationals have been babying him, limiting his starts to 4-5 innings. Herz has also struggled with walks and is coming off a 7 R outing against the Mets. [Reply]
I'd like to hope that even though they didn't score last night that a "W" took a bit of pressure off and it wakes the bats up (yeah, I know they scored one) [Reply]

The team is doing a ceremony to JoBu in the clubhouse tonight [Reply]
We had several hits and men on last night, just bad luck hitting with risp especially Gurriel. You’d think the luck would flip back our way finally after what we’ve seen the last week or two. [Reply]
