Lugo has gotten most of the attention regarding wearing down as the season approaches September. But Ragans is right there with him, in terms of now setting a career high for innings pitched in a single campaign. We need both of them to find another gear, for (hopefully) a couple more months of baseball.

Training staff tells me Hunter Renfroe hamstring injury happened cutting a ball off in the outfield in the eighth last night. If he played 1B or catcher, he could probably avoid an IL stint. The positive is the ten days gives the hamstring and his body some rest for September
