After watching this I kind of miss Gruden calling games. Not that he was so great. He had the histrionics thing working. He must have worshipped Madden. I miss him a little because what is out there calling games now is afraid to say anything remotely controversial... about anything. Towing the corporate line keeps you working.
He picks KC in a close game. He thinks the Commish should have these teams play a doubleheader because of the battle between Mahomes and Lamar.
Everyone here should like this: Lamar will be changing plays at the LOS this year. Yes, they are going to trust him to read the defense and change the plays... wrap your mind around it folks. He goes on to ask: What do you (defenses) do if you have to pick between Derek Henry or Lamar on a RO?
Says Jones (and Spags) have to be careful getting greedy or else Lamar "is gone".
He ends by calling the visitors lockerroom "penitentiary like" and then you have to come out with the fans screaming "woahhhhhhh uh wwoahhhhhh" chant. He didn't happen to mention the bus lap around Arrowhead. [Reply]
He's always been an entertaining guy who doesn't know how to entertain or not sound like a complete imbecile even when it's part of his shtick. [Reply]

If it were me, that locker room would be a concrete floor with a few benches and wire shelves with hangers. And pictures of our SB trophies on the walls. [Reply]

It is not a prerequisite of Chiefs' fandom to like everything the head coach likes. Gruden is a smarmy douche that got fired for being a dickhead and his lap around Arrowhead after a win will forever stain his standing as a human being in my eyes. [Reply]

Meh. That whole thing was waaaaaay overblown. He described the then-president of the NFLPA as having 'big lips.' One time. Never used the n-word, never brought up the color of his skin once, in fact.
Then you have all, and I mean literally every single one, but all of his former players and coaches saying that Gruden doesn't have a racist bone in his body.
That whole 'email' thing was a sham. Someone wanted him out of coaching or out of LV, and they found one email out of the hundreds/thousands to hang him with. Bunch of BS really. [Reply]
