So Hyatt is not only playing with a crap QB who is force feeding Nabers. He's also not getting anywhere near the number of targets needed to make an impact. Especially as Robinson is also getting a bunch of targets too.

Imo Hyatt is a silky route runner who can stretch the field. The speed of him and Worthy would terrify defenses.
Im all for a Hyatt trade. I mentioned it a few weeks ago.

But lets stop with the overselling and pretending like he's some stud and the NYG just don't like him or some shit.

He was never a "silky route runner". He was a one trick pony coming out of college. He clearly has something going wrong, otherwise he'd earn more snaps.

Doesn't mean the Chiefs can't use him...but pretending it's a Giants problem and not a problem with the player himself is silly.

Best trade candidates IMO

immediate impact options

Christian Kirk
Diontae Johnson
Amari cooper
Deandre Hopkins

Slow burn options

Romeo Doubs
Mike williams
Jaylin Hyatt
Darius Slayton

Jalin Hyatt is basically Mecole Hardman without any knowledge of the system. Don’t get people wanting him.

Of course Slayton is probably off limits so I would trade for Diontae Johnson. If Davante is a 4th that could be a 2nd, meet in the middle and give them our original 3rd. If that’s not enough throw a 6th in there. We have three 7th rd picks

That seems more than fair to me.

Im not sure how much Cooper and Hopkins have left in the tank. Cooper isn't some victim of circumstance in CLE. He's part of the problem.

And he's never been a dominant receiver. He was really an over hyped high end #2 most of his career.

I can't see the Giants parting with Slayton.

And Mike Williams is better than where you have him slotted, im just not sure he's a schematic fit here.

Johnson just makes sense in that you could theoretically sign him to an extension and he can do the stuff they wanted Hollywood to do.

My wish list, in order would be:

Diontae Johnson
Darius Slayton
Romeo Doubs
Mike Williams
Christian Kirk
Jaylin Hyatt
Amari Cooper
DeAndre Hopkins.

I have Hyatt higher than Cooper and Hopkins because i believe that JJSS already does what they bring to the table at this point in their careers.

Cooper isn’t Justin Jefferson. But he’s still a very good WR and he’s definitely been a victim of circumstance because Watson has been brutally bad this year. Not just making bad decisions. Last year 40% of his incompletions were due to inaccurate passes and I think it’s way up this season.

I think the short term nature of both these guys is what makes them intriguing if anything. You get a quality wr in a year you need it without being handcuffed to some contract that breaks the cap. Not bad for a team like kc that may not need them as much next year. I’d still love another wr option but you can go younger and cheaper in the offseason.

Look at Cooper's drops this year. Look at his career drop rate. And prior to CLE he was always a guy that faded in big games.

He's way overhyped. He is NOT a victim of circumstance. Quit playin'.

He raises our floor, so im good with a trade for any of these guys, really.

Kelce is in his last year next season, assuming this isn’t his last ride. Don’t see how he plays at 37.

Assuming so we have a 2-3 year period where Rashee and Worthy are making nothing and Kelce’s exit also opens up money.

It would be nice to get a proven young weapon like Diontae for a 3rd to pair with Rashee and Worthy. Hell I’d bring Juju back too with Rice’s possible suspension and injury recovery insurance

Mahomes has never had a receiver like Mike Williams.

Why would you be against Mike Williams?

It’s more to your last point. I don’t think we need a wr to dominate the position. But mahomes has never had a toy like this to play with. He doesn’t just add a body he adds a type of wr skill we need which is the ability to do everything. If he fades in big games we can lean heavier on some of the other guys. Just his presence is enough to keep opening up that vertical game where eventually mahomes and worthy will be able to connect more regularly

I have cooper and hopkins up top simply because i think they both have an immediate schematic fit in the offense.

Cooper to me is a 1 year rental to raise the floor while we wait to hopefully get Hollywood back for the playoffs.

I like mike williams too, but he has a weird lack of compatibility with this andy reid offense.

My favorite on this list is diontae and its not even close

If opening up the vertical game is the emphasis so JuJu and Kelce can eat underneath, then why not a Jaylin Hyatt?

Im just not sure how much of a field stretcher Cooper is anymore. Cooper and JJSS kinda do the same thing in this offense.
