Fact is Smith is finished and no other team will trade any thing more than a 7th round pick for him. [Reply]

And you seriously think that teams will trade for Semen?? Funny how you side-stepped my challenge to name a team that would trade for Semen and the compensation that they would offer. [Reply]

There were rumors of a team inquiring about Siemian, it might have been Buffalo. [Reply]

You're just trolling because your QBs are so terrible...KC's "finished" QB has beaten your scrub team 3 times in a row...and ruined your Christmas/playoff hopes in the process. He embarrassed Kubiak/Horseface on National TV...
Must suck to know your season is already over in August.. [Reply]
Let's say that Smith and Semen have similar seasons to last season. Next year in training camp, it is apparent that both Lynch and Mahomes will be the starters so Smith and Semen are expendable. Aaron Rodgers suffers a season ending injury at the start of camp. They have no viable backup to step in and start. They call around and both ElFraud and Veach offer their guy for a 5th round pick. Who do they take? The solid but not spectacular Smith, who can step in and pretty much assure them a playoff appearance, or Semen, who benefited from a very good defense but still couldn't take a team that just won the Superbowl back to the playoffs? They take Smith and you know it. [Reply]

It does suck. We know from experience. Our season was over before August when Romeo was head coach. [Reply]

First of all, Siemian is on his rookie contract so he's a hellova lot cheaper than Smith. Secondly, every coach in the NFL knows what Smith brings to the table so they will have to ask themselves "Do we want to pay $15 million a year for a journeyman quarterback?" Thirdly, Siemian is still young with the potential to get better. So, in this hypothetical situation, I am going to say that the green bay packers would be much more likely trade for Siemian than for Smith. [Reply]
