For instant pot I add only 1 and 1/2 c beef broth. Pressure Cook meat, onions and mushrooms on high for 20 mins. Release pressure, add noodles and cook on high another 5 and natural release 5. Add sour cream and serve.
It’s hard to explain lol it’s a central/western New Jersey thing. You can’t get it anywhere else in the country unless you order it on line.
I pre shipped about 16lbs of it to bugeaters house for a chiefs game in 2016. I made like eleventy billion pork roll and cheese sliders that day. And All 16lbs went and it was a big hit at the tailgate.
Only thing I remember of Don Fortune and his sports radio show in KC was his love of pork roll and beef on weck of his native New Jersey. [Reply]

Yeah, we covered that here before when I posted it. Someone said you folks out there call it goulash. Where I lived in Mass we called it American Chop Suey. [Reply]

Was introduced to pork roll and Beef on weck by a buddy of mine that owned a diner here in Phoenix a couple years ago. Good stuff. Beef on weck is a great sandwich. [Reply]

I grew up in Jersey and there is nothing more Jersey than Taylor Ham (aka pork roll).
Most people have Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese on a Kaiser Roll but I hate eggs so only Taylor Ham and Cheese.
