I'm looking into adding a Blackstone now that I've got more outdoor space. Everyone seems to love them, so I'm sure they're superior but this is a nice add-on if rolling with a one rig for everything type setup.

Oh hell yes. My wife always complains about my burgers being super thick, so I'm actively trying to scale them down. Just hate grilling 4 oz. pucks. Seems like a waste. Looks like this thing would let me cook over charcoal outside so I can get that real heat and flavor and then wife would be happy too. Win, win, win. [Reply]

Imo the best part of a burger is the sear so 2 thin patties generates twice the seared surface area of a thickburger. Cast iron could probably net a bit more flavor in the sear than stainless but this thing easily scratches my smashburger itch. [Reply]

I have a 14” Cabelas Cast I use for most my needs.
I do like it but went with it more out of circumstance than desire. I had limited space so needed something that could smoke and grill all in one. Plus perform outside in 110F (rooftop deck) during the summer all the way down to polar vortex negatives in the winter. Its served me well. [Reply]
I have one pellet smoker and 3 offset smokers pulse a gas grill and a charcoal grill. I really want the black stone but have been thinking about building an outdoor kitchen/patio with all the bells and whistles
I wanted the Southern Pride Rotisserie Smoker from the BBQ restaurant my buddy and I started. But he got ridiculous after his wife left him(drunk) and closed it down [Reply]
I'm going to down that outdoor kitchen rabbit hole myself. Started with a thought about getting a table enclosure for the egg, then why not build in a spot for the gasser I'm planning on getting, then may as well include the 2 tap kegerator I already have parts for, a pizza oven could come in handy right about now.... Pablo, have you ever tried rutabaga with your chuck roast? Cooked with a roast like your carrots it tastes like a cross between a carrot and cauliflower. [Reply]

Nope but I swear you've told me this before. I will commit it to memory and grab one the next time because I like both of those things. Just gotta try out once and then I'll start to think about it. [Reply]

Ha, sorry I'm not intending to nag. I can't remember things I did yesterday. My northern MN friends put me onto it. It was a game changer for us. We love it. [Reply]

No worries I'm gonna try it out. Haven't found a root veggie I don't like yet. [Reply]
