Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

I think we can use these facts to create a great nickname and catchphrase. How about:
Patrick "Starfish Wrecker" Mahomes
"He's goin' in dry!"

That is something I've always wanted to see.
I remember going down to KC as a kid in the late 1990's for a game. Got in to town eary and had breakfast at a Perkins. I grabbed the paper looking for the sports secction and on the front page was a HUGE cut out of Elway that took up the entire page. I thought to myself man, how great would it be if the Chiefs ever had a QB that would be focused on the front page of city's newspaper the Chiefs were visiting.

Russ threw 26 TDs in his very first NFL season on a run-first, defensive team throwing to Sidney Rice and Luke Willson. That matched Smith's 13-year career high.
Russ has thrown for 20+ TDs in six out of six years he's been in the league. Smith's done it only three times out of thirteen. Russ has thrown for 34+ TDs twice.
He also averages like a full yard more per attempt than Smith and has added 16 rushing TDs in six seasons to Smith's 14 in thirteen seasons.
Wilson literally throws for more yards, more TDs, fewer INTs, more explosive plays, at a higher passer rating and is a far more dangerous runner. Alex has a higher completion percentage lol that's literally it. [Reply]
