How many teams are going to be scouting College Baseball pitching prospects that also play football?
How many teams are going to be patient and let their QB sit for a year and learn?
Also, the scouting on kids that have grown up in professional locker rooms and are familiar with the atmosphere and work ethic will have a higher focus.

How many guys with baseball backgrounds with fathers who played professional sports AND made those lockkerooms an active part of their upbringing who also happen to have a motherfucking cannon attached to their shoulder are coming down the pipe anytime soon?

I mean sure - scouts can take some of the lessons learned from Mahomes and try to apply them, but they're not going to find that combination of traits + the humility born of being under the radar his entire high school/college career smashed into one guy.

We got him. This dude is a once in a lifetime combination of flukey upbringing and freakish talent and he's a goddamn Kansas City Chief.
