I know there are enough of us to participate in this thread, even when our seasons inevitably go to shit.
KSU vs Western Illinois today, tip-off at 3:00 pm.
One thing I noticed near the end of the game on Friday night - we had 5 true freshman on the court, and still played sound basketball. None of them were scrub walk-ons either. While I don't think we will make a serious run at anything this year, the foundation is being laid for a solid program in the future. [Reply]

Pretty much. Would have liked to see more improvement from Judge after Saturday, but whatever. Jamar is going to be fun to watch for the next 2.5 years. Hell, he's fun to watch now... [Reply]

I hope JH-R makes puts on some serious bulk in the off season. He has some raw talent.
Agreed about JHR, I had forgot about Wally leaving the game, my bad. But yeah, our freshman class is going to be something special in 2-3 years, and some guys (Rodney, Wally, maybe Martavious) will come around before then. Fun times with Frank! [Reply]
The game was great last night. LOTS of Kstaters at the game.
That was one of the more complete games (road or away) I have seen the Cat's play this season.
I left Lincoln and drove to KC last night. I'm in Bossier City, LA this morning and will be here until Friday, and I'll be in Ames for the game this Saturday. What a 7 day whirlwind this is going to be (starting in Manhattan last Saturday)....
Holy sh*t. Didn't think I really wanted him when we recruited him (not a fan of players who don't care about K-State or MHK and are only looking out for themselves), but considering that we need help at LB and how highly he was rated, I'd love to see what some great coaching can do for him.
Jeez, we've got some good athletes coming down the pipes. Harper, B. Smith, D-Rob, Tre Walker, and possibly Brown to go along with who's already there? Looks like a pretty solid foundation if you ask me. Just wish we could get these kids before they commit somewhere else so they don't have to sit out for a freaking year... [Reply]
