Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

OK fair enough, but he is a hell of a lot further along in that track than Wentz. For all we know Wentz is gonna regress like Derek Carr.
So if we are talking people to swap for Mahomes, I would go with a guy that is very proven and still young enough to give you another strong decade. Wilson is that guy. [Reply]

I agree. And part of it is because I’ve always loved Mahomes, but also, Wentz is coming off an ACL and is sneaky old for how long he’s been in the league (26 in December). [Reply]

He is talking about QB regressing and I doubt you can find a better example than Russel Wilson. That dude jumped the shark already and he isn't even 30 yet. [Reply]

He threw 34 TD's to 11 INT's, 61.7 QBR with a Rating of 95.4. The problem is that he has no running game support since Lynch left and barely an resemblance of an offensive line. [Reply]

Exactly. Mahomes is 4 years younger and probably has a little more upside. [Reply]

Sneaky age on Wentz for sure. 5 years in college including the redshirt.
Worked out pretty good for Mahomes to only play 3 years without the college redshirt and got a redshirt year at the pro level with pro coaches/players helping him learn. [Reply]
