Sure, it'd be nice if a coach called timeouts at the correct time all the time every time, but if they don't possess that "skill" then it's not that big of a deal as long as they're great coaches.
You know... the 99.99% of the job they're supposed to do. The important part that requires all the work and upon which they're judged league-wide and historically. The kind of thing that is the primary factor to determining whether or not your team is even in a position to not call timeout in an important playoff game in the first fucking place. [Reply]

The Falcons made one of the most franchise-stagnating coaching hires I've seen in awhile.
