Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
The one critique i'd give him right now is that he still has the tendency to float to the right, even in a clean pocket when he should be stepping up [Reply]

He does, as I think most young QBs do have that tendency to break the pocket. Part of it is that is what he's used to doing and damn good at it I may add. Certainly valid. [Reply]
If Mahomes takes the NFL by storm...the NFL will have to concede and quit deliberately ass-****ing them in the post-season.
People will want to watch the new "exciting" Chiefs...kind of what happened when Manning took off in Indy.
Calls will magically shift to KC's favor late in close games...the league will make sure he succeeds. No more 4 free plays after time expires like last year...
This will all be new to us...we've never experienced the power of having a superstar QB and the favoritism it brings. We have sure as shit have been victims of it...having Manning in the division for 4 years. [Reply]

May have to do with the fact his right side is the only side he can feel comfortable with. Fuck moving up in the pocket with that interior line. [Reply]

The difference is he has the arm talent/vision to throw across his body...DC might take into account that tendency as the season progresses but he's not limited to throws only on the right side.

Mahomes threw from all over the field while in college. He'd roll right, left, or scramble up the center.. With the OL he had at Tech, he was running for his life on every freakin' play.

IMOP that throw won us the game. NO WAY ALEX makes that throw. No Chief's QB in history makes that throw. [Reply]
