Tonight we're roasting chicken, baked taters, some corn on the cob I froze during corn season, bbq beans with bacon and Jake Edwards BBQ sauce, tossed salad and cherry coke jello no bake pie for the finish. MMM MMM... [Reply]

The crockpot has been crapping out, looking forward to playing with the new toy.
Enjoy! If you've never had a pressure cooker, there is nothing a crock pot can do that a pressure cooker can't do better and faster. [Reply]

We do a "CornCake" deal that's AWESOME! We mix one box of yellow cake mix with three boxes of Jiffy cornbread mix, then mix-in all the liquids all four boxes call for. We spray an aluminum 13x9 pan with Pam, put the batter into the pan, then bake at 350 for ~45-50 minutes. When done, we melt the better part of a whole stick of butter on top.
Clearly it's sinful, but you'll have some happy folks asking exactly how you clogged their veins.... [Reply]
For the Faider game yesterday. Instapot pork chili verde. Basically pork and onions in instapot with a green tomatillo sause. Also made venison carne asada tacos. No pics. It was fantastic though. [Reply]

Thanks! Kept the first meal pretty simple, sauteed and then pressure cooked pork tenderloin, and it was quite delicious. As I figured, it was very tender and juicy.
Not a big time saver this time (and I assume I could have skipped the saute part if it was a time crunch), but I know it will save a lot of time for frozen food. [Reply]
