Might would take a flier on Terrace Marshall Jr off of the 49ers PS.
Richie James is free and knows the offense...
Watkins and James over Skyy Moore and a 4th TE seems like trying to change for the better without spending a dime in draft capital but I'm not Veach so we'll see what happens.
The Chiefs have lost their two top WR’s… focusing on the bottom of the WR depth chart doesn’t address that loss. [Reply]

Not really the point. Richie James looked better with Jones than he did with Mahomes. Now, a lot of that had to do with the playbook and some other factors obviously, but still. Jalin Hyatt is just plain not good at football. [Reply]

He's literally MVS, run deep, take the top off etc. [Reply]

Nabers is getting force fed. Jones has barely thrown Hyatt the ball despite Hyatt getting open a ton. But oh well I'm just a poster who called for us to sign Juju and advocated for Kareem Hunt so what do I know? :-)
What I do know is Veach's tendencies. And in his whole time as a gm he's never traded anything other than a 6th rounder for a 30 year old rental. And that was Melvin Ingram. Hyatt is an undervalued assett. That's what he likes. [Reply]

Hyatt has had 7 targets in 5 games. 4 came in the last so in the previous four he had one or no targets. Richie James had 86 targets the year before he signed for KC.
So Hyatt is not only playing with a crap QB who is force feeding Nabers. He's also not getting anywhere near the number of targets needed to make an impact. Especially as Robinson is also getting a bunch of targets too.
Imo Hyatt is a silky route runner who can stretch the field. The speed of him and Worthy would terrify defenses. [Reply]

Trade all our first and second round picks! Screw our salary cap!
Then watch some other position group get hammered by injury like OL ruining the threepeat or maybe the ball doesn't bounce our way in the post season. Oh well, there's always the next five years, or maybe not if BV goes all-in this year. [Reply]

Sorry man but I want a WR as much as the next person but he’s not my guy. We’ve got our speed vertical guys in worthy and hardman. I’d love another speed guy but more like Hollywood who can hit you with the intermediate game too. The giants are getting plenty of production out of nabers and slayton and wandale, so I think we’re past blaming this all on their offense. He seems more like Mvs who could run routes at great speed but was limited to vertical routes and looks not so great fighting for or attacking the ball. We did that twice with Toney and Ritchie James and I don’t really want to experiment with another project. Let’s go get a proven wr who can plug in right away. [Reply]

Nabers is getting force fed, Robinson is getting force fed, Slayton is getting force fed. Seems like it’s more of a Hyatt issue than a Jones issue. [Reply]
