Meanwhile, the #Rams are expecting assistant HC Thomas Brown to return to their staff, while assistant QBs coach Zac Robinson will stay in LA with a better title. That leaves the vacant OC spot, with Kentucky’s Liam Coen as a top candidate.
I have never believed Patrick Mahomes' relationship with Eric Bieniemy was strong. A former running back cannot help the world's most talented quarterback.
I believe the silly "Mahomes bans wife and brother from Arrowhead" is cover for Bieniemy's exit. If anyone suggests that Mahomes is the force pushing out Bieniemy, Mahomes will dismiss the story by pointing to the wife-brother-ban story. "I love EB! People say wild shit about me."
Those are my thoughts. Getting out from underneath the over-promotion of Eric Bieniemy is complicated.
This is all speculation on my part.

Go Chiefs!!!!
Eh, you lived in KC for a while and you covered the Chiefs. But you have never been a Chiefs fan, so get lost with the "Go Chiefs (with four exclamation points!!!!)" tagline. Everyone knows your loyalties lie with the Colt and Jeff George. Still respect your takes as an independent voice, but be authentic and quit pandering. You're not a Chiefs fan. [Reply]

Anything from them saying "oh crap this could be defamation" to a cease and desist letter from Chiefs or EB representation is on the table, here.
In response to this post, Clay leaves me with this rep message:
