Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

Kelce is supposedly the best tight end in the league. Drops are not acceptable for him. Watkins is getting paid an insane $16m per year. Drops are especially not acceptable for him at that salary.
I dont know why people are on my ass for saying this: Watkins needs to get his shit together. You don't get paid this kind of money to drop balls that hit you in the palms. [Reply]

I couldn't but think the same.
This was Hill's show. But Kelce will have his glory soon enough. He's too good to not to. [Reply]
While I much enjoy seeing the 4TD's on PM2's stat line, this week vs Week 17 @ Denver really shows how stats are skewed.
PM2 got much criticism after the Denver game from dumbasses (like Keitzman) because he had no TD's on his stats, but the eye test showed that so many of his passes were big time plays that most other QB's couldn't make. There was a dropped TD pass and some rushing TD's IIRC.
Week 1 vs LA PM2 gets 4 TD's on the stat list and everyone is raving, but in reality 2 of thos TD's were 1 yard shovel passes. PM2 played great and I'm super excited.
The almost TD to DAT (but great defense by the LA DB) will go overlooked.
The dropped slant by Watkins very well could have been a TD but he can't seem to be consistent.
So many hidden things in the game that goes further towards judgement than stats. Alex Smith always had a good completion percentage and got praise for it.... yet the missing variable is that most of those are high % checkdowns.
In summary; I hate stupid people that check the stats sheet and totally miss watching the game. [Reply]

I agree stats can be pretty misleading. Heck, I think the Denver game is part of why Andy used those shovel passes to help Pat’s TD stats yesterday. He is now 4 to 1 on TD’s to INT’s for his career. Pretty nice start. [Reply]
Kelce will get his eventually. Some games he's going to be unstoppable and this won't really be remembered. Everyone has bad games, and I'm not sure he really had a bad game, other than that bad drop he had. He just didn't get a lot of looks.
Teams are going to dare Mahomes to beat them, until it gets to the point they realize that's no longer a good idea. All through camp Kelce was Mahomes' safety net. Teams already know this, they know what Kelce is to the Chiefs offense and what he brings to the table. It's not rocket science. Take away Kelce/Mahomes' safety net, and dare the kid to beat you other ways.
Well, he found another way...and the Chargers had a major Tyreek Hill problem on Sunday. It's going to be tough for teams this yr to focus stopping just one player due to the level of talent this team has at the skilled positions. Kelce's numbers won't matter if the Chiefs are winning and scoring close to 40ppg. [Reply]
I didn't get a chance to watch the game. Can someone put vids up pf the 2 drops (Kelce and Watckins) and the DAT play the DB made that should've been a TD? [Reply]
