If Mahomes was a legit, top 10 QB, QB needy teams like the Browns, 49ers, Jets, Jags, and Bills wouldn't have passed on him.

He has upside, but his frame, mechanics, play-style, and the scheme he ran in college should've made him a bottom of the 1st round/top of the 2nd round pick. Not a top 10 pick.

Surprisingly, Lynch wasn't really passed up all that much. The Browns at 15 and the Jets at 20 were the only real spots that he could've gone. The teams that wanted him (Broncos, Chiefs, Cardinals, Saints, Cowboys) were all hoping to snag Lynch at the back of the first round.
