Never had soft shell crab to know, nor have a single family member that was into them. I always thought these were a Virginia Maryland thing more. Learn something new everyday. Here a landlubber teachers a native of the area something new. :-) :-)

So...I looked up whether the Cape had a soft shell crab season and apparently they do. Right now is the height of the season.

We do the clams/quohogs, lobster and many kinds of white sea fish.

Clams mostly on the Cape. Lobster, as well as mussels, I eat for certain when I visit my brother in Freeport Maine.

Battered fried shrimp, with this sauce contains Sambal, Mayo, Thai sweet chili sauce and lemon juice.
