Man, can you imagine someone with game-breaking speed like Henderson to throw into those RPOs?
LBs in conflict with Kareem Hunt means the Chiefs gain 6-8 yards if everything goes wrong for Philly. You put a genuine top 12 RB on this roster and suddenly that 8 yard gain becomes 40.
If I'm the LBs I cheat pass on the RPO looks and force them to beat me with the ground game. And if I'm KC, my answer might just be to give Pacheco some early carries on the RPOs to see if he can pop one for 20-30 yards and give them something to think about there.
To be fair they did get this from Kareem vs Buffalo, but yeah only 17 explosive 10+ yd runs all year from the RB room is awful.
Man look how much the LB’s are thinking in this clip. Andy is going to make Zack Buan look like Boomer Grigsby there. Last time he put a clinic onTJ Edwards and Kyzier White.
The 2021 struggle is gonna help us big time Sunday. They have so much experience against Fangio. Not sure how anyone can say this isn’t a major coaching advantage for us.
The Chiefs inverted wishbone formation is a PROBLEM.
They run dive, inside/outside zone, jet sweeps, play action, boots, keepers, RPO’s AND QB DRIVEN RUNS from it.
Every defense gets tricked into giving them the treat of busted coverages, easy yards and TDs like it’s Halloween, pic.twitter.com/K83fhHJaV7

Yeah, the offense cooks with a RB who can put teams in conf.lict there.
This is the draft to reload at that spot. Spend that late 2nd/early 3rd/late 3rd on one of the backs who can give you some HR-hitting ability.

I'm I nuts for kinda thinking we'll see a throw to PM out of that formation on Sunday?
I have ZERO idea how they'd do it within the context of that mesh/triple option thing, but Andy is just smarter than I am so he'll have something in mind.
If they get up by double digits at some point, it's coming.
I don't know if they'll have the stones to try it in a close game, but I wouldn't put it outside oft he realm of possibility either.
Andy lets his balls hang out a bit in these situations... [Reply]

You're not crazy. They'd do a "give" to Kelce running to his right, keep pulling Gray to the left side of the formation, and then throw it to Mahomes with, presumably, Gray in front of him to block.
Or, if you want to get really nuts, you have Worthy come in motion from the right side of the formation, Kelce pitches it to him running to the left of the formation, and HE throws it to Mahomes.
That might be easier to pull off. Gives you more space to make the throw and gets it to a player whose momentum would be going the correct way.
And if the Eagles cover it up, you now have the fastest player on the field screaming across the formation at full speed (and the Eagles probably slow-playing following him just a little bit because of corn dog memories?) [Reply]

Gonna be a fun offseason to talk about it this bc the Chiefs have to use their 1st if they want any of those guys and man I’m just not entirely sold on a 1st for a RB again.
Especially when this DL class looks awesome [Reply]

I don't think they've done any direct snaps out of that formation lately to Kecle, either... one that vaguely comes to.mind was earlier this season, I think.
Direct snap to Kelce, Mahomes rolls out like he was in the AFCCG, Kelce takes a step or two forward like he's running it or maybe play action, then find Mahomes. [Reply]
