Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?
Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? [Reply]

Go to the Army and they want you to use hearing protection - until you go into combat....then they didn't give a crap... :-)
There was one day, back in the early 90s, when I went out shooting with dad. Ran a couple of hundred rounds through a .357. After that, my ears rang for a couple of months, and after it stopped, my hearing was never the same again. [Reply]
It is so nice to see ammo and gun prices finally calming down.
I bought 5 of the 525 packs of federal .22lr for $30 apiece from Palmetto. Granted, it's not the pre-Sandy Hook $20, but that's likely never coming back.
I just keep staring at those boxes, thinking about the last 4 years...remembering the gun shows where they were asking $175 apiece for those boxes...and getting it. Remembering the crowd of guys who had Wal-Mart's distribution schedule figured out and would be there bright and early to clean them out. [Reply]

I get to use my C&R license as well. Gun will ship right to my house.
If you ever have the need to rid yourself of any other WWII guns, give me a shout, I'd definitely be interested. [Reply]

That's a 12-$1500 rifle during a gun scare.
Just sayin'
Indeed, the gun industry banked on Hillary winning and ramped up production. When that didn't happen, they were stuck with a shit load of inventory and now they are trying to dump it.
At some point, things will swing back the other direction and prices will jump back up. If anyone wants one, NOW is the time to buy. [Reply]
