The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.
For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.
A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.
The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.
Bills are a talented team but we’ve all seen this movie before. They like to flex early in the season by running up the score and then stumble at one point or another down the stretch and fucking up their playoff seeding. [Reply]

No they’ve been dominant since 2020! It’s just bad luck that they have not even once had the one seed. [Reply]

Buffalo is ALWAYS going to choke . . . . . on the road, at home, whatever . . . it doesn't matter.
It's what they do.
McDermott is a young enough coach that I don’t think we can totally dismiss him. Andy Reid was viewed as a choker until Mahomes helped Andy get over the top. Time will tell for Buffalo.
If they somehow fail to win a ring with the combo of McDermott & Allen over the next 10 years, that would be pretty remarkable. At that point the Buffalo fans should give up. [Reply]

The Bills, are the embodiment of their fans. The team fails in the postseason, the citizens at some point failed in life and have to live in Buffalo. [Reply]

Pretty good TV commercial running at the moment. “The football season goes fast. Before you know it, a cold night game in Buffalo turns into just a really cold night in Buffalo.” [Reply]

Can you imagine how hard it would be to be a GM for that franchise? Not only do you have to consistently nail the draft, but you have to sell free agents on spending a chunk of their careers in American Siberia not to mention convincing FA why it’s worth it to re-sign. It’s inevitable that you’re going to overspend. [Reply]

Not to mention you have to pretend the Bills have some crazy advantage playing outside even tho it hurts them just as bad as the visiting team. Losing in the cold has got be way worse than losing in 80 degree weather [Reply]

For sure. Everything is "way worse" in the cold. [Reply]

Massive blizzard sweeps through Buffalo like it does every year.
Fans: “It’s so unfair we lose a home game because of our weather!!!!” [Reply]
