I disagree with his reasoning for the punt vs Georgia and still do and I have massive skepticism if he can ever get more than 9 regular season wins.
But today is an example of why he is a good coach when they do shit like this. His entire schtick is to play situational offense with lockdown defense. It's been that way his entire tenure aside from 1 or 2 seasons where the offense was structured differently (2021, 2023). He is winning at a place that is challenging to win at due to the geographic location. He was able to get people to buy in and improve the facilities.
He's raised the floor at Kentucky but we'll see if he can ever change the ceiling. He's come close twice. [Reply]
