We've seen Jamaal Charles "move swift and cut clean" the past two years in training camp as well.
The end result has always been the same.
Was an outstanding RB. The closest thing this league has seen to Barry Sanders since the real thing retired almost 20 years ago.
The man is done. You might get a nifty run or two out of him (though I doubt it with your shitty OL) but he's not going to last the season, and the good things you're stroking your dick to right now via Twitter is NOT at all how he'll play in the regular season.
You really have to trust us on this one, dude. We know him as a player better than you ever will. [Reply]

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Just hours after Denver Broncos coach Vance Joseph said running back Devontae Booker had earned some carries with the starting offense when training camp opened, the team decided to move Booker to the physically unable to perform list. [Reply]

They moved up to get Lynch not knowing what the 7th rounder could do... I don't think Elway is concerned with who wins the battle as long as they can win games, sustain drives and be consistently productive.
If he can do that with 'his' 7th round pick or 'his' 1st round pick... I truly don't think he cares. Hell, I think he would look at it and think Lynch might be ready after sitting a few years like Rodgers and then trade Trevor if he gets better.
Anything can happen. I'll let the QB battle work itself out and support whichever guy wins it. [Reply]

Lol If Lynch can't win the job against a mediocre QB that is just about as young and inexperienced, it's pretty obvious he's going to be a bust. You can't sugarcoat that. [Reply]

Dress it up however you like.
Trevor played pretty well in 2016 as a first year starter. I haven't compared, but were his final numbers really that far off from most rookie QBs?
And, just because he was a 7th rounder, many want to dismiss him. Ok, I get it. But, if he's good enough to win the job, my guess is because it's more on what he can do and less about Paxton being a bust.
Paxton could very well be a bust, we don't know. If Trevor continues to improve and play well, and the OL and RBs are more consistent and healthy and all that adds up to a better offense... it's all good. [Reply]
