Irish aged white cheddar, some organic seed bread, homemade mayo, goast pepper jelly, and danish ham sammies warmed in cast iron skillet. And a bourbon. [Reply]

I don’t post a ton about restaurant stuff, but I was able to get to Emporia on Friday night and got to Bobby Ds Merchant Street BBQ for their smoked
prime rib.
It remains consistently the best I’ve ever had. Ever. By a significant margin. I’ve quit trying to order it at other places. Wife will still try and then complain about how it’s not as good as Bobby Ds :-). Lighting is bad, Kids trashed the table, but fortunately the wife was cognizant enough to grab a picture. I was too busy tackling the thing.
I’ll say it again. Bobby Ds smoked Prime Rib is the best I’ve had.

Yep, did a mix with some cream cheese, sharp cheddar, green onion and Worcestershire. Then gave them a little hickory smoke for good measure.
Those are my favorite thing. I might not even eat anything else until tomorrow or until way later when I'm buzzed but I'll get three of those bad boys down easy in short order. [Reply]

Cheesy potatoes. They put sour cream (I think that’s what I taste in there) in them which I’m not fond of. But if you’re OK with that they’re good cheesy potatoes. They don’t overload them with a ton of butter or greasy cheese.
I had the French fries with BBQ sauce. I’m a sucker for their fries. Most people would (probably rightfully so) think there are better options. But I’m a sucker for their fries. [Reply]
