Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

Holy shit.
He threw that ball past the linebacker's ear hole.
And he got away with it because he threw right when the linebacker's momentum was taking him away from any chance at picking the ball. That and he has sick fucking velocity.
I love this kid. He's going to be the total package. He just has tremendous instinct and feel for the passing game that you can't teach. [Reply]

The more he plays, the more people will understand his talent. Baldinger worked for Fox Sports for many of Mahomes' games at Texas Tech. Most of the media is clueless on the matter. [Reply]

That’s why I’ve been saying for a year now that it was a good thing he got to sit the bench for a season. That’s where a QB actually does get better, even when not taking live reps. [Reply]
The Mahomes to Tyreek combination is almost unstoppable.
What are teams supposed to do? Have a safety 40-80 yards deep every play?
Once Mahomes sees Hill get almost even with the safety, he just lifts it past everyone and gives the ball enough air under it for Hill to get under it.
This is going to be one of the funest offenses that has ever been fielded.
Defenses are going to use their safeties deep and Kelce is going to be matched on linebackers all day...teams compensate to slow Kelce and Hill, Hunt is running against 5 man boxes...teams move up to stop Hunt and Watkins takes a slant to the house.
If the line can be an average blocking unit... [Reply]
The #Chiefs have been very vanilla in the preseason, but I did find it surprising that Mahomes had 12 drives and completed 72% of his passes (31-43). Threw for 367 yds, 2 TD, INT and a 103.5 QBR. Statistically, he was the best starting QB in the league.
