Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
That TD to Kareem Saturday showed that he absolutely has a ‘feel’ for the mental side of the game, but we all know that was just one of many examples. [Reply]

Yep. He picked out 3 plays to tweet from the Bears game. One was the deep ball to Sammy where he slowed up...Cian says Sammy will be fine. He then tweets the pass to Watkins that was a little off because Mahomes didn't step into the pass and said Mahomes on the other hand...LOL
And then tweeted the sack he took in the redzone and the scramble he almost had for a TD and bitched about that.
Then tweeted someone and said he thinks we'll have a good offense but totally expects Mahomes to throw 15+ INTs like it's so unheard of for a first year starter to throw 15+ INTs lol.
He cherry picks a few not so good plays, while ignoring all the good. You can literally do that with any QB, including the greats.
He's just a fucking douche who cant admit hes wrong no matter what and apparently cant evaluate players for shit. He STILL hasn't admitted he was dead wrong about Tyreek Hill. [Reply]
Wow. Never liked that Keitzman guy, much. (Honestly, never cared one way or the other about the dude). But this is pretty silly.
Unlike many, I am an AS11 fan. I will always believe he's been unfairly criticized throughout his career and is a far better QB than many people think.
But "better at setting up the punter"? Really? If that's our game (or anybody's, for that matter) we might as well hire an entire squad of punters and just punt the living daylights out of the opposition all season long.
I expect to start the season with more turnovers from Mahomes ... certainly more than AS11 threw (which was basically none). Over time, that number will decrease and the "Punter Factor" will re-emerge. But the number of TDs (vs FGs) will grow.
I think I see where he's coming from ... but what an odd take.

Well that's the part he's not including.
While Mahomes may be "10x more likely to turn it over at the 10" :-)
he's also 10x more likely to throw a TD from the 10.
It's not what this guy is saying, it's what he's NOT saying. [Reply]
As much as I liked AS11, he was admittedly guilty of losing on 3rd down quite a bit. (Scrambling for 1 yard, throwing short of the sticks, counting on YAC, etc.).
Mahomes is far more likely to throw BEYOND the line of gain on 3rd down. Far more likely. (And far more further.)
More 3rd down conversions may mean more INTs, but it's not a given. On the other hand, it also means longer, more time-consuming drives, and ultimately more potential scores.
Bring your punter out to hold for extra point tries. I love Colquitt, but I'm fine saying, "We don't need no stinking punter."
