I understand that it's not the playoffs, or even a game with a lot on the line, but my point was that in 20 years Mahomes will have had such a great career, that everyone will remember his first game at Arrowhead, as our starting QB, as the genesis of a legend, and they will remember The Throw as the moment Mahomes announced his greatness to the world.

This is interesting, though ... 111 career challenges is a bloody ton of challenges. That's probably top 5 (or so) all-time in number of challenges. He was worse at Philly, much better in KC. This year, he's 1 for 1 (100%).
I haven't developed an algorithm that will establish either the mean or the nice ... however, my guess is that, the more you challenge, the more likely you are to wind up with a 50% success rate (or thereabouts).
Summary: Wally ain't so bad. He just challenges a lot.
