My buddy and his son got a Turkey yesterday morning so we brined it for 8 hours and then injected and deep fried it. Another guy showed up with a 36 inch blue cat so we cleaned and fried it too.
We ate good. Home made mac and cheese and potato salad and corn on the cob. [Reply]

But it was damn good.
I've probably got a picture of the bird when it was shot yesterday morning on my wife's phone though. I'll see.
Sweet. Post that up in the hunting thread... [Reply]
Paper towels are fine but I think we all know what happens they get soggy. Really doesnt matter it was a suggestion stick to what you do. We all know its the bestest ever. If I have a problem with hauling home and throwing a glove in a washer then I have become the laziest bastard on the planet.
I meant with a paper towel but they aren't bounty bullshit, more like U-line but yes, I want washing gloves to be the last thing I need to do when pulling in the driveway. Call me lazy if you want.
As far as wasting 10 gallons of water to wash a Michael Jackson glove.... Just joking, If the glove works or you. Go for it.

Nope. My mom and stepdad found them on their land. She picked them, cleaned them and delivered them. I only have to fry them up. Gonna do some bbq chicken and mushrooms tonight, and some other side, dunno just yet.
I found a few this year poking around, but they found the absolute motherload, put pics up in loochy's morel thread on the front page here if you wanna see. [Reply]
