That's no excuse...at his age, it's from poor diet.

The broken wrist must not have been on his fork hand.

No edge defender in the NFL registered more defensive stops in 2016. pic.twitter.com/VLnuakmSbi

Yeah, I definitely think you guys should keep him as the starter... would be silly to mess with that mojo.

Big Andys scheme feasts on that soft ass defense. It will be even softer with Wade gone.

Good luck with all that...

Smith was 59% completion, 220 yds with 1 TD and 0 INT in the first win.
Smith was 69% completion, 244 yds with 1 TD and 1 INT and 1 rushing TD in the second win.

Smith didn't kill Denver... but, he gets the credit because he's the QB, I do understand how that works.

I'm really looking forward to this season.

I bet you do. Unfortunately for the :-), this regime isn't just standing pat. Dorsey it building a team that will compete for many years to come. Meanwhile, elfraud is drafting the likes of Corky

Standing pat? Don't see how you call that... It will be interesting to see how it shakes out... so KC is headed into a season with a QB that isn't fond of passing to begin with and now he's doing it with a cast of unknowns at WR. How will that play out? I don't know that Hill is ready for the #1-2 spot... he's a tremendous weapon, no doubt... but, he's not ready to be the guy just yet.

Kelce is the straw that stirs the drink in the passing game, better keep him healthy. And, better hope one of the other guys can step it up to take Maclin's targets.

Everyone knows this is a transition year for the Chiefs. The donks have a all new coaching staff and are hanging their hopes on a D that is a shell of its former self and no real prospect at qb. Our arrow is pointing up while you're pile driving yourselves to the bottom of the division for years to come

It's a transition in Denver as well, whether others want to admit it or not... it's year two of the transition. There's no reason to believe that Trevor cannot improve and be a top 15 QB this year.

There's also no reason to believe that he will. He regressed as the season went on last year.

Well, he was hurt... requiring off-season surgery. The OL also completely went to hell down the stretch and the lack of RBs with CJ's injury and a rookie playing behind that line didn't help.

And, in his first 10 games - the numbers weren't bad.
195/325 for 60% - 2,396 yards with 15 TDs and 7 INTs (7-3 record)

The last 4 games, he had just over 1,000 yards with 3 TDs and 3 INTs... and went 1-3 @ TEN, vs NEP, @ KC and vs OAK. So, yeah ... he was beat up and playing 4 tough games, 3 of which were playoff teams and one being the ultimate SB winner.

Might explain some of the regression.

Extrapolate the production from the first 10 over 16 and he has 3800 yds, 24 TDs and 11 INTs. I'll take that in 2017.
