Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

The DB who almost picked it did a great job of either baiting Mahomes or quickly recognizing the other receiver was covered & Watkins was uncovered and turned on a dime. Cant really see it on this gif.
But it looks like Mahomes is trying to bait the DB & the LB underneath, takes his eyes off the DB for a split second and during that split second the DB turns back and gets to the window in time.
Mahomes could've very well thought or was hoping Watkins would come back towards him and hesitated for that split second for him to do so and then just slung it in there thinking he had the DB sold to the right. [Reply]

I have a friend that's an Alex and Watson dickrider. It is miserable following him on Twitter. Probably gunna unfollow his ass during the season.
Point is, no Chiefs fan wants Watson to end up being better than Mahomes. If they're both great? Okay I guess. But I kinda want there to be zero doubt who's better and not have to deal with any bullshit spewed by moronic Chiefs fans if Watson wins playoff games or a SB before Mahomes or shit like that. I dont wanna hear any "We should've drafted Watson" bullshit.
And while I still think he has limitations and his knees could be a problem down the road, he does seem like he'll at least be a good QB and an exciting one. But how good?
One advantage he has over Mahomes this year in terms of statistical output is the schedule. Texans face one of the easiest schedule of defenses and the Chiefs face arguably the toughest set of pass defenses. [Reply]
KK is getting everything he wants with his a comments and when the time comes, will wiggle his way out of it when Mahomes succeeds. In the mean time he gets the attention he craves. [Reply]

It would take a Mahomes and a Carr season injury to happen.
SD is already limping with all those injuries. Sucks for them. [Reply]
