One thing that helps the Donkos, initially, is they play like 4 out of 5 games at home to start...and will have a new system that teams wont have tape on.
Things will tank when reality sets in...6-10 to 8-8. Going to be an ugly year over there...

You say that as if teams really won't have an idea what types of things McCoy will try to do.
It will be interesting to see what they do with the options in the backfield, lots of versatility and options there - Anderson, Booker, Charles, Janovich, DeAngelo Henderson (R) and some action from another rookie, Isaiah McKenzie is being looked at as a tweener at WR/RB/KR - similar to Hill. We shall see on that one, but your former coach seems to like him and used the comparison.
Same with TE - more options compared to last season. Green, Heuerman, Derby and Butt (R). Everyone has waited for Virgil to step up and maybe he proves it, but there are plenty of good options.
I know, you guys are going to say "who?" Lots of young guys and unproven talent, but that's the fun part. The key here is versatility with options... McCoy has a lot to work with and I think they'll have more success with sustaining drives than they did last season. They were a mess. Some of it was due to Trevor fighting through typical first year starter issues. He may very well not be the long-term answer, but he played pretty well and should definitely improve.
Again, excited to see how training camp and preseason goes.

8-8 is their ceiling...and that's IF Charles actually is healed and can play all season. The fact he cant even participate in running OTA plays wearing shorts says something is still wrong.
It's nearly been two years since he tore his ACL.....
