Creed and McDuffie too, it's just not unanimously known yet. :-) [Reply]
"I'm taking Cooper Dejean as my dark horse [Super Bowl MVP], as the Eagles win the Super Bowl. He's going to have a couple of picks, a sack, a forced fumble, and a recovered fumble. I like Cooper Dejean."

It’s wild. Kind of like the people saying the Bills were due. They say it because they want it to be true.
This Eagles D is better coached and is younger and more athletic at DB. They can man up better than they did in 22, but the Chiefs also have better WRs and answers against man than they did in 22.
But they are not as deep or as good on the Dl/edge. (I think people are REALLY sleeping on how good Javon Hargrove was for Philly that year. That version of him is as good as Carter).
I mean, it was just 3 weeks ago that a team with similar but lesser personnel had its way with this Philly D.
You want to say the Chiefs aren’t good enough running the ball to run on the Eagles? Well, the Rams just did it 3 weeks ago. To great success and with great consistency.
Chiefs have a better OL than the Rams. Chiefs have a better QB who is more mobile and just as dangerous slinging it all over the field. Chiefs have a deeper group of receiving weapons. Chiefs have just as much of a mad genius at HC/OC. [Reply]
My old boss lives in Philly. Of course he's a die hard and he has reasons to think the Eagles will win. One thing he did say that stuck with me though - he said they probably would have lost the Rams game without the weather. He readily admitted the Eagles are vulnerable. [Reply]

There may even be limitations to their man coverage as a team that simply hasn't done it a whole lot. And can 34-year-old Darius Slay run with Worthy or Brown?
I personally think Mitchell is great in man, but I think Dejean is super grabby and would have his struggles sorting out Kansas City's man-beater concepts in general.
This defense wants you to throw it underneath and let them rally downhill and tackle. That's where they've excelled. [Reply]

Fangio is a zone merchant, this is gonna be more of that deep quarters, drop out bullshit that SF and Seattle did for years. If they all of the sudden show up and play man, they'll get cooked, lets watch young players that don't play man figure out how to deal with rubs and switches out of mesh on the fly. [Reply]
