Whoever he looks like, it’s obvious the guy is a baller and needs the ball in his hands more often.

Have you ever played a third person video game?

I keep having flashbacks to playing Metal Gear Solid on the Playstation 1. I would be running with Snake, and trying to get into a doorway before a guard saw me, but I would miss the door and would run into the wall, but my feet would keep running, even though I wasn't going anywhere.

That's what I think of when Pacheco runs. It doesn't matter if he hits offensive linemen, linebackers, defensive lineman, or defensive backs, his feet just keep running.

Been watching the highlights from the game, and it's become obvious that Pacheco is going to become the RB1 at some point. At the end of the day, he's just faster and more physical than Clyde. And he's a fair receiver.

Clyde's real value was always supposed to be the threat of his route-running ability and hands as a receiving RB that could also run behind a zone-blocking OL. But he just lacks the speed and physicality to be a 3-down back in this offense. I think CEH still has a lot of value to the offense, but Pacheco, with his combination of speed and power, is just a better fit as a true RB1.

On snaps he's RB3 at present, I could definitely see him taking over more from McKinnon and being the firm RB2 by year's end. I was glad to have McKinnon back but he's been disappointing so far and used in odd ways.

CEH is average at everything he does. Pacheco has far more speed and upside.

Hopefully by years end Pacheco is the starting RB but obviously he has to earn it and stay healthy.

Pacheco ran a wheel route last game where he popped wide open.

I think his ability as a pass-catcher makes him super viable in this offense.

I dream of him doing this.

We never would have gotten those soft shells with Hunt. Maybe Pikachu make teams play it more honest.

He's been more than solid in blitz pickup as well, likely outperforming McKinnon there thus the increased snaps.

I added him to my fantasy squad this week as a stash. He's basically forcing the Chiefs to give him more touches by sheer quality of play. Only a matter of time before he's the RB1A.

He was incredible. If we had decided we wanted/needed him (instead of letting him go for nothing), I wonder what we would have spent that CEH pick on?

Either way, I'm thrilled we have Pacheco AND Clyde in the backfield now.

Hunt is just so interesting to watch replays of.

He wasn't fast, but like Mahomes - he always seems 1 step faster than whoever is chasing him. And man, his contact balance is just exceptional. He's not a small guy by any means but he ran much more powerful than his size because he was so good at keeping his feet under him.

That's really what I hoped we'd get from CEH but he just never ran hard enough. Hunt wasn't a guy who should've been running away from guys or through them based on the stopwatch, but you can't measure that balance. It sure appeared that CEH had it but he's not demonstrated it very often.

I don't necessarily see that from Pacheco either but shit that guy runs hard. And last week CEH was as well. That's a big step forward.

CEH isn't a bad player by any stretch; there are whatifs out of every draft but getting a true North South runner like Jonathon Taylor would have been incredible for the Chiefs from that draft. I think CEH is a rare miss in terms of value from a usually outstanding Chiefs FO.

Pacheco is that North South guy you are going to need in some situations heading into November and December.

I thought he was going to catch 5 passes a game plus ten rushes and be a nightmare spreading the field out.

He wasn't that.

Strangely he dances until another rb goes in and hits the ball running. Last year with McKinnon, now Pacheco.

He seems to be motivated from others taking his job. Not him wanting to better on his own.

Same with hardman. He had Kelce and hill to learn from. Should of been a beast. He looks lackadaisical.

I mean, there is zero actual evidence of that.
