The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.
For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.
A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.
The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.
The Bills are pretty clearly the 2nd best team right? They just bent over the Phins and went in dry, and right now I cannot put trust in Lamar or Lawrence over Josh Allen. [Reply]

They looked like this last year at this time. We will see. [Reply]

But that's good enough for Buffalo fans, they need their September banners.
It is kind of remarkable the way shallow analysis flies.
The Bills have played a weaker schedule and killed it. It's not dissimilar to claims they were a better team than KC in 21 and 22 because "look how much better Buffalo's D is!" while ignoring the string of awful offenses and backup QBs they had been dominating.
The Bills' D has yet to hold up in the playoffs against an elite offense. Until it does I won't believe it's capable of it. [Reply]
I seem to remember a team that went to 4 straight Super Bowls without winning one. Jinxing the hell out of themselves with this type of analysis:
"The 2023 Buffalo Bills are the 6th team since the NFL Merger in 1970 to score 135+ points and allow under 60 points in their first 4 games. The other 5 teams that did all won the Super Bowl that year."
