This has a chance to be another very special season, so I figured it would be nice to have one place for us to communally dump Chiefs-related video clips, tweets, articles, podcasts, etc... from the national media this season.
Stuff like Pat McAfee Show, Nick Wright & First Things First, Kay Adams, First Take, GMFB, Mic'd Up, Inside the NFL, Turning Point, Total Access, The Ringer, The Athletic, ESPN+, MMQB, etc...
Rather than endlessly scrolling every media outlet daily, if we crowdsource it to CP, we'll all have one thread to check in on for awesome content. If something is huge & noteworthy, certainly feel free to launch it's own thread.
If it dies, it dies. But if this works, maybe we can do one of these annually so we can track down old takes from years past.
The refs excuse is already being built up for this weekend.

The Chiefs are getting set for a Divisional Round matchup with the Texans on Saturday and we now know what referee crew will be in charge of the contest.
Clay Martin, who has been with the NFL since 2015 and a referee since 2018, was assigned as the head referee for the 3:30 PM CT game. Kansas City is a perfect 6-0 in the Patrick Mahomes era with Martin refereeing, giving the Chiefs an extra advantage in a contest they're already big favorites in. [Reply]
I guess last year didn't happen. We have knocked out Bengals, Buffalo 3 times and Ravens. Lucky my ass and don't play anyone my ass. Not to mention each SB we beat the top defense and top offenses. [Reply]
"Kansas City, worst point differential in the history of the league for a team as good as them. My number 1 team in the league is Buffalo. [Bills] QB, most talented remaining in the playoffs. I think this is the year."

But/for the Chiefs, the fucking 49ers are considered a potential dynasty after winning 2 titles in 5 years and playing in 4 conference championship games in that 5 year stretch.
But/for the Chiefs, the Eagles are ALSO in the discussion with 2 titles in 6 years, going for a 3rd this year in 8 (and without the SB hangover last year, who knows if they melt down like they did down the stretch in 2023).
The reason these other teams AREN'T seen as historic teams is BECAUSE the Chiefs beat them.
But y'know what? The key is that those teams aren't going to be remembered and this one will be.
And no amount of saltiness from Jason McIntyre will change that. [Reply]
