Just based on everything he's said and done leading up to this, its just different for Mike this time
Lets face it he went out badly with some ugly losses, DQs etc... and now he knows that at his age this is his last chance to make some real noise, and put an annoying upstart in his amateur ass place
And cashing in like a mfer at the same time, its a win/win for Mike
How you know he's dead serious, is coming back after the ulcer scare... he could've shut it all down with his legacy still intact after that, but no he wants one more shot at blistering some fool with one last classic uppercut KO [Reply]

:-) Come off it. He just wants money and is promoting the fight like he should. I feel a bit of pity for him, as he must be in some dire financial straits to even entertain the thought of fighting this grifting e-celeb "boxer" [Reply]

You've chosen the most cynical explanation possible
I choose to believe he wants to show the world one last flash of his old glory before its entirely too late...he didn't train like this for the Roy Jones Jr exhibition
Of course money is part of the equation, but smart money says he'll be coming out fast and furious at the bell

At 58, he needs to end it asap
Can't wait...
:-) 'one last flash of his old glory'? For real?!? He's fighting one of the Paul brothers. I just went and looked out of morbid curiosity, the dude has made a career beating up washed out UFC fighters and failed sports stars. [Reply]
