I know there are enough of us to participate in this thread, even when our seasons inevitably go to shit.
KSU vs Western Illinois today, tip-off at 3:00 pm.
One thing I noticed near the end of the game on Friday night - we had 5 true freshman on the court, and still played sound basketball. None of them were scrub walk-ons either. While I don't think we will make a serious run at anything this year, the foundation is being laid for a solid program in the future.

Kansas (not 27, but...): Cheeseburger Collins (24), Tyshawn Taylor (20)
Baylor: LaceDarius Dunn (33)
Colorado: Dwight Thorne II (30)
Oklahoma State (again, not 27...): Byron Eaton (25)
Gawd, that was painful to type. Especially Oregon & uk (both of them).
That's not counting all the random dudes going for 20 who probably never saw nearly that many points again...
Don't bother with me, I'm just pissed/frustrated. Been a long day.

Playing well thus far, but the offense is struggling a bit... I love the defense.
I think getting off to a good start is going to be important for us this year.

CRAP! Denis just went down hard, he's holding his elbow.... I hope he's alright.

I like the spacing and the movement, just need to hit the open shots and finish around the rim.
Defense is very impressive.

This. Jamar & Jake both look better than I've seen them this year. Dominique's my boy, but I think Samuels needs to start.
Hopefully we can finish the 1st half strong and continue to play well in the 2nd half as well. So far I like what I see.

Well, not so much anymore. 2 wide open 3's in a row in transition.

Jeez, these refs are real whistle happy for 5 minutes, then they let 'em play for 5 minutes....
I'm hoping we can stop them here & hit a 3 so we can take a 10 point lead into the break...

35-28 at the half... Looks like a football score.
Luis Colon still in street clothes... Not that we're missing him, but does anyone know the story on his injury/when he's supposed to be back?

I read the other day it is an off-court issue now, not injury.

That must be why he has been pouting his fat face on the sideline all weekend. So much for a homecoming.
